Government-Army relation cooled for a while in Nepal

The conflict between Maoist led government and army has been cool now in Nepal. However, Maoist has claimed that it will definitely sack the army chief Rukmangat Katuwal. Katuwal had been asked to clarify his “defiance” against government instructions last week. He has given a detailed reply to the charges against him.

Last week, Nepali politics was hot because of government-army conflict was in climax. It was rumored that the government will sack army chief and army will dismiss constitution assembly with the help of president and start army regime in Nepal. Nepali people were feared again because of the imaginary horror of next armed conflict. Maoist has owned their weapons that are in cantonment under UN supervisory.

It seems that Maoist activity and asking of clarification a conspiracy to rule over army and establish own belief and philosophy in army team. So, the Maoist leaders are trying to dominate the army once again. This political weather doesn’t sure that the conflict has been ended.

The conflict can’t be ended for ever. The Maoists will continue their efforts to take over the army and army will try to rule the nation.
