Again Load Shedding in NepalNepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has enforced new load shedding schedule effective from Wednesday.

According to new schedule, NEA will cut up the electricity 16.5 hrs per week. NEA will cut electricity supply for two to three hours per day. This schedule will be effective from Siraha to Kailali including Kathmandu and Pokhara. However, NEA noticed to cut up 21 hours electricity in Hetauda-Birgunj area.

NEA has claimed that new schedule was published because Kataiya-Duhabi 132 KV transmission line collapsed after being hit by Koshi flood. However, it is guessed that this is a political issue and India didn’t supply electricity because PM of Nepal visited China breaking other PM’s culture of visiting India first. Political critics have said that India is annoyed by PM’s this action.
