Pretty cool, eh? $320 is a steep amount and the girlfriend should be wondering where he will get the money from after he bought all the gifts for her. Then again, she is girlfriend, and not a wife. I sympathize with them both.

The girl got 15 days for fraud. FRAUD and not something else. The boyfriend seems to be doing the right thing by not helping her out. Who knows she might have been cheating on him. Serves her right indeed.

The fine falls by €15 for each day spent in jail. So the boyfriend might be using his own judgment on how much she should suffer for stealing the bottle of shampoo before he decides to bail her out. :)
